When Massachusetts farmer Paul Tawczynski first shared his story in a Cricket Wireless testimonial, he said after in his own words, “It changed my life.”

What started as a simple reflection on his connection with Cricket has now turned into a moment, where he called on the brand again, this time to help him pull off a proposal for his girlfriend.

This is the first of the kind of long-form content that Argonaut will be doing for Cricket since it won the organic social media business from Mekanism. Argonaut has been Cricket’s creative agency of record since 2014.

“I've really enjoyed highlighting the people of Cricket Nation over the last few years. But some moments like Paul's are deserving of more time to really lean in and tell a deeper story. To let them breathe and unfold. Social gives us a great platform to do that." says Hemant Jain, Head of Creative, Argonaut.

“We love getting to know our customers, and it’s been so rewarding to hear Paul talk about his experience with Cricket and the role we play in his life and for his family,” said Cindy Rozier, vice president of advertising, brand, marketing and sponsorships at Cricket. “When he reached out about doing this as a follow-up to his testimonial spot, we could not have been more honored or excited to jump in and help. That’s what Cricket Nation does.”

Cricket Valentine's Day kicks off with a teaser where Tawczynski says, “Joining Cricket Nation was the second-best decision I ever made,” leading up to the big moment on Valentine’s Day when he bends the knee. It all wraps up with the question, “What’s Paul’s best decision? Tune in 2/14 to find out.”

“Being a dad, running my business, and trying to balance it all, Cricket helped make life a little easier," says Tawczynski "And now, they’re part of an even bigger moment. Proposing to my girlfriend is something I thought about for years, and I wanted to do it in a way that truly meant something. Since Cricket helped make it possible, it only felt right to bring them into the moment."
