As truth becomes increasingly negotiable in the public sphere, the Gothenburg Film Festival has tested what honesty is really worth.
With the live experiment Truth Tickets, visitors can get festival tickets by passing a lie detector test.To introduce the festival and its theme 2026 (truth), agency BBDO Nordics has brought in director Mats Udd and Slutet to produce this year’s promo film.
The film stars international actors David Dencik and Alexander Karim as they explore what truth is really worth.
Göteborg Film Festival is the largest and most influential film event in the Nordic region. It offers a curated window into the world of Scandinavian cinema alongside the very best international films.
