Great Anglia Railway are back with another film with Outsider’s DOM&NIC following on from UNLONDON in 2025.

Pablo have taken on the account and upped the ante on the second film in the campaign with Drop The Robot once again reflecting the adventure and scale that GAR can bring into our lives.

The Red Hare mascot returns once again but this time around London with some new robot pals as they explore the iconic Natural History Museum before turning fully human and cycling off into the sunset through Hyde Park. The ad comes off the insight that due to modern life and technology many of us live our lives on auto pilot, robotically repeating the same routines. An antidote to this is quality time spent with family and friends exploring new and exciting days out in the nation's capital or in the many East of England destinations that Greater Anglia and c2c serve.

DOM&NIC are no strangers to the team at Great Anglia Railway and were over the moon to be invited back onto the film to collaborate once more. “It was great fun to reunite with writer and Creative Director Miles Bingham, now at Pablo London, for our second Greater Anglia commercial. We’ve worked with Miles a number of times throughout our careers and it’s always been a great experience. This time, the idea was to use a family of robots as a playful metaphor for how our obsession with screens can disconnect us from the world around us. Greater Anglia’s animated hare arrives and summons a train to their living room to whisk them off on a day out in London. Their robotic shells soon pop off and fall away as they rediscover the world beyond their devices. It was an extremely challenging but hugely enjoyable one-day shoot, taking in three locations across London, with an ambitious combination of practical and post effects and physical comedy. We collaborated with Millennium Effects, to  create the fantastic robot suits with practical lighting , and the visual effects team at Rascal, led by Andy Steele, to bring it all together”

Louise Rudaizky, Managing Partner at Pablo said:  This work has been a long time in the making and it’s so good to see it out in the world.  It’s the first time the two networks, Greater Anglia and C2C, have spoken together inviting people to get into London and enjoy themselves.
