Grumble-Bees introduce the Hiway to freelancing
This new campaign for the fintech platform tells us that being part of the hive isn't all it's cracked up to be.
This new three-film campaign for Hiway, the European fintech platform for accounting and administration for freelancers and independent professionals, shows us three reasons why being a salaried worker bee isn't always the best option.
Created by Albert Albert Creative Studio and produced by Bold Production, the simple but effective spots illustrate one bee's ongoing issues with being just another employee.

Set inside a perfectly efficient hive, the trilogy shows our hero not as a rebel or a radical, but as a competent, diligent worker who's increasingly aware of the pitfalls of being an employee who highlights individually trivial moment that, collectively, become frustrating. Visually restrained and sharply observed, the trilogy of spots turns one bee’s quiet dissatisfaction into a broader reflection on contemporary work culture.
Rather than glamorising escape, the AI campaign frames freelancing as a rational evolution and a considered redesign of how work functions. In a world of portfolio careers, digital autonomy and flexible contribution, independence is no longer marginal, it’s strategic.
