Rogue has signed award-winning director Karien Cherry for UK commercial representation.
Known for her instinctive understanding of performance and her ability to balance elegance and emotional truth, Karien Cherry has built a reputation for creating work that feels both cinematic and deeply human, that’s full of wit and warmth.
Whether directing nuanced comedy, performance-led storytelling or ambitious VFX-driven campaigns, Cherry thrives on taking creative risks and approaches every project with emotion first. Her inherent taste and ability to draw authentic performances have made her a sought-after creative partner for agencies.
After more than a decade behind the camera, Cherry's award-winning work has earned international acclaim. She became the first female director to helm a campaign for Heineken and directed the first non-US campaign to be shortlisted for Advertising Excellence at the AICP Awards. Her portfolio spans global brands including Heineken, KFC, Google, New Balance and Toyota.
In 2025, Cherry made Loeries history by winning the first-ever Grand Prix awarded in the Film Craft Performance category, recognising her exceptional ability to bring truthful, memorable performances to the screen.
