Montreal based director and photographer Villagomez creates cinematic work shaped by atmosphere, composition and performance. Across music videos and commercials, he builds distinct visual worlds that move between realism, theatricality and surrealism, balancing scale with intimacy.
His films are grounded in gesture and physical presence. Whether working with heightened energy or a quieter, more observational tone, Villagomez uses movement, rhythm and performance to give each image narrative weight.
His collaborators include Denzel Curry, Killer Mike, Apashe, Wasiu, Ariane Roy, JeanMichel Blais and The Kid LAROI. His work has been recognised with a Best Alternative Video win at the UKMVAs for Jean-Michel Blais’ Passepied and Best New Director at the AICP Awards 2026. In 2023, he also received a special award from the Canadian Academy of Cinema for his work in music videos and its international reach.
