Stadium has signed director Lukas Tielke for US commercial representation, marking his first representation in the American market.

Known for inventive camera work, unexpected transitions and a cinematic sensibility, Tielke brings a precise visual imagination to projects across automotive, sport, lifestyle and documentary.

His films combine technical ambition with an instinct for rhythm, atmosphere and human connection. Whether orchestrating an elaborate camera move or letting a quietly observed moment unfold, Tielke builds his approach around the individual story. His portfolio includes campaigns for BMW, Renault, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Audi, Volkswagen and Adidas.

“Lukas makes the kind of work that ends up in everyone’s references,” said Stadium Founder and CEO Samy Mosher. “He has a distinctive way of seeing and the craft to bring ambitious ideas to life. He’s built an exceptional body of automotive work, and what excites us is how much further that visual imagination can go. We’re excited to be his first US home and connect him with agency and brand partners who want to explore that.”

Based in Düsseldorf, Tielke is a co-founder of production company Peoplegrapher. Alongside his commercial work, he pursues personal films including Burrnesha, a Vimeo Staff Pick documentary short exploring the lives of three Albanian sworn virgins. These projects reveal another dimension of his filmmaking, pairing his visual craft with an intimate approach to people and place.

“Stadium understands both the work I’ve made and where I want to go next,” said Tielke. “I love finding a visual approach that feels unexpected but belongs to the story. Automotive has given me incredible opportunities to explore that, and I’m excited to bring that same curiosity to new brands, subjects and ideas with Stadium.”

“Lukas is helping set the visual direction of automotive, and you can see that in the brands choosing to work with him,” said Kelly O’Neill, Stadium's West Coast representative. “His work is so inventive. You’ll see a camera move or a transition and immediately want to watch it again. That imagination has applications far beyond cars, and I’m excited to put him in front of creatives here who will see those possibilities.”

Tielke’s arrival is part of a broader expansion of Stadium's directing roster as the company responds to growing demand from its agency and brand partners. “Our partners are asking for distinctive voices who can deliver ambitious work and understand how campaigns need to live today, across platforms, formats and production realities,” said Mosher. “That’s guiding our growth. We’re bringing in directors with fresh visual perspectives and the craft to execute them, giving our partners more possibilities for the work they want to make.”
