Publicis Conseil adds new Executive Creative Directors
The internationally experienced French creative duo Yann-Gaël Cobigo and Thibault Michal joins Publicis Conseil to help drive the growth of its global brands.
Publicis Conseil has announced the appointment of Yann-Gaël Cobigo and Thibault Michal as Executive Creative Directors. They will help shape and lead global creative strategies for several of the agency's major international brands.
Originally from Paris, Cobigo and Michal have spent most of their careers in London, working at agencies including R/GA, Media Arts Lab, BBH and VML. Along the way, they have created and led international campaigns for some of the world's most iconic brands, including Apple, Audi, Heinz, The Athletic and Coca-Cola.
Over the past three years at Ogilvy WPP/OpenX, they played a key role in some of Coca-Cola's most high-profile global work. From The World Needs More Santas, the brand's 2023 global Christmas campaign, to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, they helped create campaigns designed to connect with culture on a global scale. They also led the recent worldwide collaboration between Coca-Cola and Star Wars, bringing together two icons of contemporary popular culture.
Their work has been recognised at many of the world's leading international creative festivals. Their Coca-Cola Paris 2024 campaign has also become part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Their arrival marks another step in Publicis Conseil's international growth and further strengthens the agency's global creative expertise.
“Yann-Gaël and Thibault bring real experience in global brands and international creation. Their arrival adds even more strength to our teams in areas that are increasingly important to our clients. We're delighted to welcome them to Publicis Conseil,” said Marco Venturelli, CEO and CCO of Publicis Conseil.
“Joining Publicis Conseil at such an exciting moment in its journey is a fantastic opportunity. We've long admired the creative ambition Marco Venturelli, Agathe Bousquet and the entire team have built here. We share the belief that the strongest ideas are those that can cross cultural borders while remaining deeply human. We're thrilled to begin this new chapter together,” added Cobigo and Michal.
