Revolver announce the launch of studio:Revolver, a new production model represented and overseen by the Palme d’Or winning production company.

studio:Revolver is set to uniquely specialise in agile productions from within a highly established production ecosystem, focusing on social and vertical content, stills, and projects that require an end-to-end approach.

In addition to being engaged on a project basis, studio:Revolver can be offered as an optional addition to any Revolver production.

The team, whose focus is centred around lightweight production, is led by Director/DOP Ollie Ritchie and producer Lizzie Dingle, who bring with them substantial insight from working at the heart of agency-production, and a history of creating effective, well-crafted work for some of the country’s biggest brands.

On shaping the production model, Director Ritchie shared: “Being embedded in this space, we saw an opportunity to rethink how to approach the work. The obvious trick is knowing how to do more with less, but there’s a nuance to keeping things efficient while retaining craft.  By combining high-quality, lightweight production with actual data you get pretty close to a perfect social production model.”

Dingle, Producer of studio:Revolver, added: “studio:Revolver is built for the realities of modern content: scalable, agile, and designed to move at the pace of culture.  This model enables us to meet that demand at the highest level, with the support of an industry leader in production and craft.“

Director and Co-Owner of Revolver Steve Rogers said of the new venture: “We’ve been looking at different ways for us to be able to make high-quality social work with limited resources for quite a while now. It’s a very difficult challenge because you require the people making the work to not only direct and produce incredibly well, but to also edit, shoot and finish projects at a level that we feel is in keeping with what we do at Revolver. I think we worked it out.”
