We’ve all been there: you open the fridge, the milk’s run out. Suddenly, you're throwing a coat over your pyjamas for a quick garage dash. But when you’re one of the most recognisable pop stars under the sun, an incognito milk run isn’t quite so simple.

Back in 2009, Cheryl revealed the real price of fame, which has lived rent-free in the nation's head ever since: “I can't nip to the garage in my pyjamas anymore for a pint of milk, even if I want to.”

Now, as she makes her much-anticipated return to our TV screens, in a spot directed by Rosie Gaunt Mathieson throught Artclass, Cheryl has found the solution to her famed dilemma that’s followed her ever since her first admission. Thousands of Tesco products are now on Deliveroo, from fresh food and groceries to household essentials. Whether you’ve run low on milk for your morning cuppa or need to top up your weekly shop, there’s no need to change out of your PJs or leave the sofa. Browse everything from Tesco Finest to the iconic lunchtime Meal Deal, and link your Clubcard to collect points and get Clubcard Prices on Deliveroo too.

In Deliveroo’s hilarious new reprise of the iconic meme, Cheryl is back in her PJs but this time with a perfect brew in hand, after getting a fresh pint of milk from Tesco delivered straight to her door.

Cheryl comments: “Who knew a little confession in 2009 would have this kind of shelf life? I can’t believe it’s still doing the rounds, but we’ve had a good laugh giving it a glow up all these years later. At least I no longer have that dilemma with Tesco now on Deliveroo - so nothing stands between me and my morning cuppa.”

The nation can now channel their inner Cheryl at home with an exclusive ‘Cheryl-Skimmed’ bundle, containing teal silky pyjamas and a one-of-a-kind ceramic milk jug hand-signed by Cheryl herself. The ultimate keepsake for Cheryl ‘soldiers’ and anyone who wants to stay indoors to live their best VIP life whilst they wait for their groceries to be delivered direct to their door.

Suzy McClintock, VP Consumer at Deliveroo, added: “Pop star or not, nobody enjoys nipping to the garage in their PJs for a pint of milk. That’s why we’ve recreated Cheryl’s iconic meme, this time with the milk delivered. With Tesco now on Deliveroo across the nation, thousands of everyday essentials can be delivered straight to your door - milk very much included.”
