Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Scottish Highlands, director Niall Trask brings a distinctive visual world to Texas’ Another Way To Cry.

Featuring the band's iconic front woman Sharleen Spiteri alongside Robert Carlyle, the film embraces the raw beauty and dramatic landscapes of Scotland in Glen Co, creating an atmospheric setting that perfectly complements the track’s emotional depth.

Trask said: “I hit it off with Sharleen and the band, first and foremost; through a mutual appreciation of Thierry Henry. The band were very clear from the get go about what they wanted to do. The band's name comes from Paris, Texas and they wanted to borrow the mimic scene, but shoot against the backdrop of the band's Scottish home. And I was more than happy to facilitate.

Robert Carlyle was in one of my favourite films of all time, Ravenous and he told me some amazing stories about shooting that. I was behind the camera acting out the mimicking counterpart for him, it was an honour being told to f*** off by acting royalty when I tried to get him to do a cartwheel.

I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to direct legitimate full blown legends in such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Sharleen, Johnny and PIAS.”
