Yacht Club welcome new Midwest representation with Sonia Reps. Yacht Club delivers creative content for agencies and brands that unite production and post from the start, from cinematic broadcast to eye-catching stills and scroll-stopping social media content.
“Already making a splash, we're thrilled to welcome Yacht Club to the Sonia Reps roster. I was immediately drawn to their dynamic, drool-worthy, modern storytelling. Their ability to seamlessly integrate world-class tabletop, live-action, and cutting-edge Virtual Production, is a massive asset for the Midwest’s premier brands," says Sonia Blum. "Providing high-end craft, with a collaborative nature is a perfect match for how we approach every project. They’re the team you want to work with, AND hang out with."
For Yacht Club Founder/EP Joe DePasquale it was a meeting of the minds. “The Midwest is home to many of the most beloved food, confectionery and consumer goods brands, and an important market for Yacht Club,” DePasquale relays. “Sonia and Ally were recommended to us by a number of agency and brand producers there who respect and appreciate their genuine enthusiasm and experience. They are a dynamic team whose knowledge of the Midwest market and agency background translates into long-term relationship-building and strategic partnerships. We are excited to see what we build together.”
Founded in 2014, Yacht Club began its collaboration with food focused production company SCHROM in 2018, and the two entities officially partnered in 2023 as SCHROM x Yacht Club blending ingenuity and a fresh take on production with decades of experience for a comprehensive approach to live-action, tabletop, and still photography from production through delivery. Over the last three years, the studio has expanded its creative offerings with its unique integration of live action and tabletop talent, additional post talent and a new XR stage. Going into 2026, the companies formerly consolidated under the Yacht Club banner, with Michael Schrom joining the YC roster.
Yacht Club’s curated director roster has also grown, to span a wide range of disciplines, from tabletop and liquid to lifestyle and performance, to bring an elevated level of craft to every style of storytelling. Among the studio’s recent campaigns are projects for Shake Shack directed by Michael Schrom and Jake Ladehoff for agency Opinionated / Tombras, Firehouse Subs directed by Michael Schrom for agency Camp+King, Kroger directed by Helen Downing for agency McCann NY, JIFF with live action direction by Matt Morgan in collaboration with animation studio Golden Wolf and director Karl Fetke via BBH, Five Guys directed by Jake Ladehoff with agency Chemistry, and more.
EP Andrew Greenberg, who has produced for Michael Schrom for many years and worked alongside DePasquale in the studio’s evolution over the last seven years, explains, “Everything we do is guided by being a trusted creative partner that not only meets clients where they are, but takes them above and beyond. Essential to that are the people like Ally and Sonia who carry our torch and are an extension of our holistic approach, along with our philosophy, experience, and care.”
