Written during the early days of the pandemic and after the release of Bond theme No Time To Die brought her to the attention to a new audience, Billie Eilish's meditative My Future can be read both as an exploration of an artist embarking on something new and as an unexpectedly prescient view of the world now.

Following an Eilish avatar as she wanders a forest at night, the film's Ghibliesque visual and atmospheric storytelling makes for a perfect companion to the song's melancholic tone and restrained production.
