Australians have a fair whack of things to be proud of in their country, and to kick off 2026, one of the main ones - delicious Australian lamb - is shouting about a few of the others.

In a hilarious new film for Meat & Livestock Australia, The Happiness List, Lambassador Sam Kekovich and his hapless staff are on a mission to see the country regain its position on the official World’s Top 10 Happiest Countries list.

Taking the opportunity to make cheeky references to quintessentially antipodean treats, bashing pommes, and even catch a duck-billed platypus attack, Droga5 ANZ and Good Oil director Dave Wood fill each moment with wit and playful asides, including a delightful reference to a “succulent Chinese meal”.
