For most football supporters, a shirt, a badge and an occasional scarf are enough to show your fondness for a team.
However, for the OTT fans in AXE's Smell Your Best When You Look Your Worst work from LOLA, there is no limit to the lengths a costume can go.
Spanning five new films, the campaign sees a Mexican fan dressed as a football pitch, a German supporter wearing a giant sausage, an Argentinian fan recreating an iconic World Cup goal, a French fan in a rooster costume, and an English supporter abandoning his mates mid-“ENGLAND” body paint, all saved by the fact that they smell bloody fantastic.
With CZAR director Lionel Goldstein giving each film a delightful vérité feel, and leaning in heavily on the slapstick, this cheeky set of spots swaps goals for guffaws.
