Directed by Darling’s Eva Vik the super stylish, cinematic film was shot for Esquire Magazine and features acclaimed F1 driver Charles Leclerc, the cover star of the Esquire launch in France.
Shot in Monte Carlo, in the world-renowned Princess Grace suite at the Hôtel de Paris, the film captures Leclerc in a rare, intimate space, far from the noise and precision of Formula 1.
Director Vik said: "I wanted to approach it like a perfume film, something sensual and instinctive, where we could see Charles differently. Not as the driver, but as the man. At his most present, most open, most effortless, and sexy.
The black and white became essential, giving it a timeless, almost nostalgic feeling, letting the light, the textures, and his presence carry everything. It was about finding a softer, more personal energy, and letting that come through.”
Vik’s signature visual language transforms the editorial into a cinematic luxury fashion experience. Presenting F1 Legend Leclerc as a contemporary icon of style and presence, embodying a refined masculinity.
