As the US Men's team prepares for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, each player brings with him a backstory about the training, the sacrifices, the victories and hard-learned lessons along the way.
Perhaps even more important is the community of people who believed in them and fed their dreams; parents, coaches, fans and many others who made an impact along the way.
Chobani, the team's nutrition partner, is the brand behind three mini-documentaries which chronicle the journeys of top US players Weston McKennie, Christian Pulisic [both below], and Antonee Robinson [above] from childhood to competing at the highest level of the sport.
Directed by Hector Dockrill through magna studios Los Angeles, the films honour the players' significant personal achievement sand the remarkable journeys that brought them to the top of their profession.
"Having played football my whole life, with a spell at semi-professional level, this was never going to be a staged campaign. I wanted the truth and reality of what families, coaches and friends sacrifice to get these players to the top of their game,” said Dockrill. "This docuseries follows the story and human moments that make the sport what it is.”
