Brought to life by filmmaker Jay Russell with the help of a small crew at Work Hard Offline, this dynamic short film captures London from its most iconic methods of transport: the double-decker bus.
Titled Bus Drivers Prayer, the project explores the city from the unique perspective of the top deck, cleverly weaving mundane vignettes with abstract shots to explore its rhythms, people, and streets in motion.
Inspired by Ian Dury’s poem of the same name, the film blends observational storytelling with intimate portraits of those who keep the city moving.
