OkayStudio, the London and Berlin-based post house relied upon by global clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Netflix, Diageo, Visa, EA Sports, Dyson and Nike, has signed editor Marcelino Simon for worldwide representation.

Cutting with a rhythm and pace that has established him as one of Germany’s leading editors, working with directors Sebastian Strasser, D.A.R.Y.L and Hauke Hilberg, and production companies such as Pulse, Czar, and Iconoclast,  Simon brings further depth to the studio’s exciting roster of both seasoned and next gen artists.

With credits spanning international advertising campaigns and music videos, for the likes of Audi, Vinted and Moncler, Simon's work is defined by his instinct for narrative and a love of finding solutions to the most challenging of creative conundrums, qualities that align closely with OkayStudio’s craft-first approach to post production.

In a past life, Simon worked as a post producer and director on major television shows, and is more than comfortable under pressure. In fact, as he mentions himself, he tends to thrive on it: "I’m never scared of a challenge and a bit of adrenaline, it tends to create the best work and bonds. That’s why I am very happy to be joining OkayStudio, it feels like a natural fit. I’m excited to work closely with such a fun and talented team and push the work further together.”

Simon brings that same energy into the edit suite, along with a collaborative spirit and, crucially, good company. Clients in the past have valued not just the work, but the experience of making it with him.

"Marcelino brings something rare: a genuine editorial point of view combined with the speed and instinct that commercial work demands. We've been looking for the right person to grow the editing side of what we do here in Berlin, and he's exactly that," says OkayStudio’s European EP, Marina Präger.
