With the help of agency Fold7, the National Literacy Trust – a British charity empowering people with reading, writing and speaking skills – has launched this fun, mixed-media campaign titled Go All In.
At the heart of the initiative is a colourful hero film, directed by Ewan Jones Morris through All Of Us Here, which layers live action with traditional, illustrative animation techniques to reposition reading from a perceived chore to a gateway that brings our existing interests to life.
Dave Billing, Executive Creative Director at Fold7, said: “With this work, we wanted to show that reading is the ultimate plugin to your passions. Our stop motion, collage aesthetic in the ad isn’t just there to look pretty - it’s making an important point. Which is to demonstrate that books are just one of the many ways people can connect with reading.”
