Nike throws everything at the World Cup
Wieden+Kennedy Portland and Somesuch's Dan Streit leave no player, cameo or camera trick unused in Nike's blockbusting (in more ways than one) tournament film Rip The Script.

If you only watch one World Cup spot this year, watch this one... as it's basically all of them.
Aptly titled Rip The Script, Wieden+Kennedy Portland's bombastic new film for Nike sees pretty much every footballer, celeb, scenario, camera technique, editing trick and flight of fancy it's possible to imagine packed into its attention-span-busting six-minute duration.
While it's probably easier to list who isn't in the commercial - we think it's just Paul Chuckle and one of The Nolans - there are a handful of outstanding cameos: LISA looking bemused by the scenario, Channing Tatum as a befuddled Haaland double, and Eric Cantona referencing his kung-fu hijinks and tortured allegories in a single shot.
Helmed by Somesuch's Dan Streit, the film's chaotic energy is clearly the result of painstaking prep, creating a thrilling mish-mash that leaves the word excess in its wake.
