Created by VCCP, this tongue-in-cheek campaign from UK high-street brand Primark, titled Shockingly Chic, puts a playful spin on the seriousness of fashion ads and spotlights its Spring Collection.
Directed by Folkert Verdoorn through magna studios in collaboration with Girl&Bear, the hero film titled Oh So Serious, whisks viewers into the glamorous world of fashion advertising.
Models pout in the desert, pose with Dalmatians, and hang from helicopters over city skylines before revealing their surprise at the quality and low prices of the garments they’re wearing.
