Revolver have signed Canadian director Miles Jay for representation in Australia and New Zealand.
From his Emmy-winning campaign for Squarespace starring John Malkovich to his recent human-centric campaign for OpenAI, Jay’s work shows a real breadth of storytelling while always retaining a distinct heart.
Among his many accolades is a Grand Prix at Cannes Lions for his music video Smile for Jay-Z. He has also received multiple DGA nominations, further Cannes Lions, and several wins across CICLOPE, The One Show, AICP, the Clios and D&AD.
As a director, Jay brings a tonal warmth and craft-forward care to his projects, creating film at every scale that feels authentic, visually rich and emotionally resonant.
Speaking to that quality, Revolver MD/Co-owner Michael Ritchie notes: “Miles, beyond being a truly great filmmaker, has an inimitable ability to deeply understand the human response. I look at his work and I feel better about the world.”
With Revolver EP/Partner Pip Smart adding: “We’re constantly being challenged by our clients to deliver performances that make people feel something. Over the years we’ve held up Miles’ work as a benchmark of how to do that, and we’re thrilled to bring his sensibility to this market.”
