Shortlist Management signs Bait Society
The global AI-native production company Bait Society joins the Shortlist Management roster.
Shortlist Management has signed Bait Society to its roster, marking the addition of one of the first truly global AI-native creative production companies operating at scale.
Bait Society is a creative and production company focused on AI driven filmmaking for advertising and branded content. Built from inception around generative workflows rather than retrofitted to them, the company operates as a distributed, cross-continental production model spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States.
Founded by Gianfranco Gaioni, Bait Society brings together an expanding international roster of directors working at the intersection of cinematic craft and AI-driven systems. The following represent selected highlights from a broader lineup of creative talent operating across multiple territories and disciplines.
Kobayashi, based in Bangkok, develops hybrid and fully AI-driven narratives with a focus on high-impact visual storytelling for automotive and branded content. Karsten Winegeart brings a refined, cinematic visual language rooted in strong composition and emotional clarity. Magellan Rubin, based in Los Angeles, works across commercial and experimental formats with a bold, contemporary aesthetic. Mattia Benetti, based in Milan, bridges traditional live action and VFX-driven production with advanced AI workflows, combining commercial discipline with technological innovation. Nightwolf, based in London, is recognized for a distinctive digital-native style that merges art direction and generative image systems. Zein El Din, based in Cairo, represents a new generation of directors working across fashion and culture with a strong Gen-Z perspective.
This geographic and creative diversity reflects a production structure designed for a global market, where AI enables real-time collaboration across territories without sacrificing authorship or execution discipline.
Recent brand collaborations across the roster include Yamaha, Vice, Audi, Renault, Mercier, Corteiz, and Cupra.
Rather than positioning AI as a novelty, Bait Society integrates it as a core production methodology. From concept development and visual research to hybrid shoots and fully AI-driven executions, the company combines creative direction, technical supervision, and production under one structure.
“AI is not an add-on for us,” says Gaioni. “It’s the foundation. The goal is to expand creative possibility while maintaining taste and control.”
Shortlist Management has built its roster around companies operating at the forefront of production innovation. The addition of Bait Society extends that direction into AI-native filmmaking, offering agencies a credible pathway into hybrid and fully AI-driven campaigns at a global scale.
The partnership officially launches March 1, 2026.
