She now joins Stink, whose global reach will support the continued evolution of her career, connecting her with leading agencies and brands around the world. For Stink, signing Burdett further strengthens the company's offering and commitment to creative excellence. Molly is currently developing a series of original projects, which are soon to be announced.
Andrew Levene, Managing Director, Stink UK said: “We’ve admired Molly and her work for a long time. She’s a brilliant director, but she’s also just a genuinely lovely person and exactly the kind of director we want to work with and support at Stink, building on what she’s already accomplished in the UK market. We’re thrilled she’s joining us.”
Ben Davies, Managing Director, Stink US adds: “This is where Stink is at its strongest: working across territories to identify the next generation of filmmakers, storytellers who genuinely connect with the audience and artists who match our culture. Molly has already established herself in the UK and Europe with relevance, craft and artistry. It is our privilege, and we are very excited, to partner with her in the US.”
Burdett adds: “For me, it's always been about creating work that feels true and has real meaning. I'm drawn to brave thinkers, and from the very beginning it was clear that Stink shared that same ambition. Their commitment to bold, original filmmaking, as well as supporting directors' individual voices is what makes this feel like an incredibly exciting next chapter. Stink's global network gives me the opportunity to keep telling these stories in new markets whilst growing in the UK. I honestly couldn't think of a better team to do it with.”
