StrawberryFrog names Scutellaro as General Manager
The New York-based agency names Steve Scutellaro as its first GM. He will take the helm alongside new Co-CCO Nick Sonderup.
New York agency StrawberryFrog has appointed Steve Scutellaro as General Manager.
Scutellaro, who has been Managing Director at Deep Focus for the past five years, will join Co-Creative Chief Officers Tyler DeAngelo and Nick Sonderup, who was appointed CCO this summer. This is the first time StrawberryFrog, which celebrates its 25 year anniversary in 2024, has appointed a General Manager.
Scutellaro met and worked closely with Nick Sonderup on Mini Cooper, Timberland, FOX Sports and several other brands while at Pereira O'Dell. He started his career at Rosetta (later acquired by RazorFish), then moved to Crispin Porter + Bogusky where he led a slew of integrated campaigns for Best Buy, including multiple Super Bowl commercials. Next, at Deutsch LA, he led brands like PlayStation, Taco Bell, Target and others. Scutellaro then moved back to the east coast with Pereira O'Dell’s office in New York, helping them grow over the course of five years.
Since then, Scutellaro has been running Deep Focus, where he led the agency through an acquisition and consistent growth, reinforcing their social media offering and building a team focused on innovative integrated marketing strategy and communications. During those five years, he was overseeing work for brands like HBO, Aruba Tourism, Jägermeister, Bravo Network, and AvisBudget Group.
Also comprising the revamped leadership team will be Nicola Conneally who has been promoted to VP Operations and HR.
"Steve has the perfect skill set for StrawberryFrog having led top creative agencies and clients, he joins us at a time when we are strengthening our reputation as a leader in breakthrough creativity and integrated Movement Marketing," said Scott Goodson, StrawberryFrog's Founder and CEO."
