Created by Ogilvy and beautifully brought to life by MegaComputeur, this animated holiday campaign from chocolate brand Suchard introduces Martin, a little robot working and living in isolation on Mars.
As the holiday season approaches, Martin watches Earth from afar, witnessing the joy, laughter, and togetherness that fill homes. Longing for that warmth himself, Martin tries to recreate the holiday spirit in his own small way. But it’s the unexpected kindness of humans from Earth that brings the true magic of Christmas to him, proving that connection and care can transcend even the greatest distances.
“With this year’s campaign, we wanted to show that Christmas lives wherever we share it,” says Miguel Alonso Lamamié de Clairac, Senior Brand Manager, Seasonal Spain & Candy Iberia at Mondelēz International. “Suchard is here to remind us that no one is truly alone during this special time of year.”
Jesús Rasines, Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy, echoes this sentiment, saying, “No matter who or where you are—even if you’re on Mars—the message of Christmas is universal. It’s about coming together and celebrating what unites us all.”
