The Garage launches The Garage Creators Residency

The Garage announces the launch of The Garage Creators Residency, a rare, studio embedded residency designed for three, hand-selected Creators ready to commit to consistent output, hands-on experimentation, and ambitious work made on camera.
Built around craft and execution, the residency provides participants with direct access to The Garage’s studio space, equipment and in-house team.
“We believe the traditional production model wasn’t built for the pace and ambition of what’s next,” says Steve Giralt, Founder and Director at The Garage. “The residency is our answer to that. It’s a new system where creators can push further, faster, and where brands can see ideas come to life on camera before they become high-stakes decisions. It’s about designing the future of creative work, not waiting for it.”
The Creators Residency was introduced at an event at The Garage last week. The three Creators selected for the inaugural residency will be announced in March. The residency will offer access to The Garage’s studio, camera and lighting, motion control and robotics, Unreal virtual production and LED volume, special effects and fabrication, an in-house prop house, and a cross departmental team of producers, technologists, and craftspeople. Resident Creators will also receive a monthly stipend to support production costs.
Intended to grow into an ongoing platform that brands can partner with over time, the model is structured to generate finished work that can lead to paid, long term collaborations. As the program develops, participating creators will have access to continued compensation, ongoing opportunity and financial stability alongside creative momentum.
