Director Charlie Hill helms this peaceful, docu-style promo through OPC for Canadian band The Neighbourhood Watch’s song, Lifeline.
The meditative track delves into the lead singer's experiences of being diagnosed with a life-changing illness. The cathartic lyrics are perfectly paired with Hill’s simple yet calming visual metaphors.
Hill found inspiration in the tranquil lives of the Mennonite community in St. Jacobs, Ontario. Their simple, nature-centered lifestyle became the central theme that Hill and his team strove to achieve- but the music video was destined to evolve beyond themes of simplicity; instead becoming an exploration of unwavering communities and genuine connection.
