YOUTH joins Markenfilm Group

Brazilian filmmaking trio Eduardo Lubiazi, João Machado and Yuri Maranhão bring their hybrid visual language and tactile, craft-driven storytelling to Markenfilm’s roster.
Markenfilm Group announce the signing of YOUTH, the Brazilian filmmaking trio made up of close friends and collaborators Eduardo Lubiazi, João Machado and Yuri Maranhão.
Based in Brazil, the trio has built its own creative ecosystem outside traditional industry structures, founding the production company The Youth & Co. and animation studio Colossal. This independence allows them to work as a genuine collective across a broad range of formats, from raw, independent music videos to global commercial campaigns for brands including Pepsi, Nissan, Puma and Volkswagen.
YOUTH’s strength lies in the chemistry and shared creative instinct of its three collaborators. Working as a collective, they develop their films across storytelling, image-making, cinematography, design, animation and post-production. Their process remains fluid and open, allowing the creative approach and team structure to evolve according to the needs of each project.
Their shared creative process extends from development through to post-production, with visual effects and animation integrated into the work from the outset. YOUTH move fluidly between live action, hand-drawn 2D animation and 3D design, combining highly technical camera movement and digital environments with physical elements such as practical lighting, rain and in-camera effects. The result is a rich and distinctive hybrid style that feels handmade, cinematic and alive.
Their work has received top honours from festivals including Cannes Lions and the CICLOPE Festival. Their commercial portfolio also includes projects for brands such as Google, Nike, Garena, alongside Moderna.
