Boldly signs Plummer/Strauss

Boldly signs directing duo Plummer/Strauss to its roster for exclusive representation in Canada.

Justin (the Plummer) and Martin (the Strauss) are a directing duo known for building whimsical worlds where meticulous craft meets playful imagination. They pair purposeful camera movement and stylised lighting with unexpected human detail, creating films that are visually rich and distinctly surreal.

Plummer/Strauss shares: “We've admired Boldly's work for a while. You can tell from their work they care about the craft and push every project further. When we sat down together, we found we shared the same passion for filmmaking and storytelling, and we couldn't be more excited to join the team. We’re fans of the quirkiness of the Canadian market and can't wait to do more work within it with Boldly as our partner.”

Boldly EP Shelby Manton adds: “After being introduced to Plummer/Strauss through our friends at SixTwentySix in the US, we knew right away that we wanted to get them on our roster, too. Their work is perfect for the Canadian market. It’s comedic, cinematic, and playful in a way that excites us because it matches the tone of so many briefs that we see out here. We can’t wait to introduce them to our agency partners and get collaborating on something fun.”
