In collaboration with AMV BBDO, sportswear and equipment brand Decathlon launches this uplifting campaign co-written by its 9-year-old voice actor, celebrating the joy of first-time wins.
The film takes us on an action-packed journey through a diverse range of first-time sporting and outdoors achievements, from exciting family camping trips to the thrill of landing a new skiing trick.
Adapted by the young narrator herself, the emotive and honest voiceover describes – from a child’s open-minded and enthusiastic perspective – the excitement, nerves and satisfaction of attempting something new.
Laura Rogers, Executive Creative Director at AMV BBDO says: “This campaign embraces the heart-racing, hair-raising, beginner mindset that unites everyone from pro-athletes to first timers. And continues Decathlon's proud tradition to make sport for everyone. In the words of Frida: 'I think there must be a bazillion things to try for the first time’. I couldn’t agree more.”
