France's leading non-profit organisation fighting homelessness, The Abbé Pierre Foundation, has teamed up with Fred & Farid to launch this harrowing and realistic short film through Boogie Nights, highlighting the harsh realities of homelessness for young people.

Titled Expulsion, the seven minute short film centres around a teen boy, Adem, and his single mother who face eviction from their home. From falling asleep in class to missing football practice, we see how every aspect of Adem’s life is impacted by his housing situation as the story unfolds.

Sensitive direction, authentic storytelling and impressive performances, particularly from young Adem, contribute to the film’s emotional impact. Despite the hardships, the story ends on a hopeful note as Adem’s family regains stable housing thanks to the Abbé Pierre Foundation, emphasising the campaign's message: "To regain a home is to grow hope."
