What better way to tell the decades-spanning story of a brand known for its handcrafted leather expertise than utilising the talents of a filmmaker known for her handcrafted watercolour style?

Incorporating the distinct visual language of artist Joanna Blémont, 180 Years of Loewe is an animated journey through the company's history, weaving together its iconic moments alongside key cultural milestones: the invention of the aeroplane, the first cinema screening, landing on the Moon, David Bowie, the Hubble Telescope.

Narrated by Antonio Banderas, the film's USP is the gorgeous technique of Blinkink's Isabel Garrett at its heart, with every frame crafted by a team of 10 painters using acrylic and oil stick on over 2,000 sheets of watercolour paper.
