For Colbe’s first major brand campaign, music was the foundation, not the finish.
Amsterdam music and sound agency Hear came on board from the first day of pre-production, working with director Timo Ottevanger to lock in tempo, texture and atmosphere before a single frame was shot.
The brief was clear from the start: something that felt both elegant and raw. Working from mood references and close collaboration with Ottevanger, Hear built a score that could carry six dancers from isolation to synchronisation without a single word of dialogue. The music had to do what language couldn’t.

“We went for an elegant but raw sound to anchor these bold visuals. So much is being made these days. We wanted to do something different. A daring sound that lets the dance truly come into its own. That is the most beautiful thing music can do.” said Joshua Petit, ECD and composer, Hear.
The film is Colbe’s debut campaign. Colbe is a Dutch network connecting over 2,000 specialists in work and wellbeing, serving roughly 1.3 million employees across more than 65,000 employers. For a brand built around collective energy, a film driven by dance and music was the only logical choice.
