Huge brand activations may be all well and good, and multi-part campaigns featuring every form of media under the sun sound impressive, but there's something to be said for the good ol' 30-second comedy spot.
Making the witty observation that smart tech might not always be so smart, AKQA Brussels' first campaign for Mobile Vikings - Play It Smart - shows that even well-intentioned mood-setters might need to be tweaked on a First Date.
Shot through Hamlet by Canadian director Taso Alexander, the short sketch hits its comedic beats brilliantly, the exasperated escalation providing more than one genuine chuckle along the way.
