2024 may still be hanging on, but at shots we're looking ahead to 2025 and the first of our three annual shots Awards events.
Officially launching today, shots Awards The Americas 2025 will see the best work from North America, South America, and Canada battle it out for trophies in a variety of craft-focussed categories. But you have to be in it to win it - take advantage of an early bird entry discount, applicable until December 31st, and get your campaigns entered.
Casting their experienced eyes over the work will be ten juries of industry experts, the Head Judges of which we're thrilled to announce today:

- Leading the Animation & VFX jury for 2025 is Kirsten Noll, Managing Executive Producer at Scholar.
- The Cinematography category will be chaired by Diego Garcia, Director of Photography at LUX Artists.
- Akin McKenzie, Production Designer, will oversee the Casting, Production & Styling jury.
- Guiding the Charity category is Kelly Bayett, CEO of Love Films.
- The Concept & Copywriting jury will be chaired by Jason Kreher, Partner at Maximum Effort.
- The Direction jury will be led by Luke Ricci, President of RSA Films US.
- Overseeing the Editing category is Sila Soyer, Executive Producer at Arcade Edit.
- The Music & Sound Design jury will be chaired by Brian Bernard, Audio Director and Audio Engineer at Grayson Music.
- Abdi Ibrahim, Director and Photographer at De La Revolucion, will lead the Music Video jury.
- Danielle Hinde, Owner and Executive Producer at Doomsday Entertainment, will chair the New Director category.

The full juries for each of the categories will be announced soon, and the shots Awards The Americas 2025 ceremony will be taking place on May 1st 2025 at the NeueHouse in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
The shots team will also be putting together another day of insight and creative exploration for shots Out of the Box. More details will be announced in the New Year, and you can see how last month's London event went here.
