American post-rock band Son Lux launches this artistic and melancholy promo for their track Out Into Us, directed by Alex Cook through Caviar.
Rendered in striking, contemplative vignettes - each individual frame lit and composed like a painting - the music video expands on the album’s themes of transformation, connection, and change.
As a family waits for an approaching storm, what initially appears to be an external threat gradually reveals itself as something constructed and sustained by anxiety and doubt. By stepping into the storm rather than retreating, the illusion collapses, allowing something uncontrollable but alive to pass through.
