Directed by Richard Paris Wilson, Layla’s Mountain blends hundreds of painterly frames into captivating visual metaphors, illustrating the young girl’s experience of being diagnosed with aHUS, sensitively narrated by her own words.
As the visuals swirl and shift through each chapter of her story, Layla shares her fears, resilience and the support that helped her navigate life with a rare disease, offering hope to anyone facing an uphill climb.
