These three subtle films for BetterHelp services were directed by Santiago Ruffa and visualise lone individuals finding a route through the darkness.
Winston Churchill famously referred to his own bouts of depression as 'the black dog' and poor mental health has long been associated with a metaphorical lack of light, an unending gloom through which no glimmer of hope can penetrate.
Ruffa’s spots, Clara, Bus and Bench, gently suggest the online therapy service can illuminate a way through melancholy by depicting individuals logging on, starting their therapy journeys and feeling ‘lighter’.
