Previous Chevrolet spots, such as last year's A Holiday to Remember, and 2022's The Holiday With Mrs Hayes, have set their focus on family dynamics, and 2024's The Sanctuary follows that lead.  

Created by Anomaly Los Angeles and directed by Academy Awards-winning director Tom Hooper, through SMUGGLER, the five-and-a-half-minute film highlights the special relationship between a grandfather, father and son, underscoring the pressure that can accompany choosing a career path. 

The ad, of which there is a 60-second cut [below] also touches on people who build; be they things, families or communities.

The focus on family has become a tradition for the Chevrolet, which has created ads that focus on themes of love and loss, community, connection, caring for one another and, of course, the vehicles that bring people together.
