If you want to show off your new phone's filmmaking capabilities, there are worse hands to put it in than those of double-Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow.
Presented as part of Apple's latest product announcement, Bigelow's film, Hollywood In Your Pocket, does as good a job as you'd hope from the action-movie specialist, zipping between wonderfully shot and constructed movie genres whilst showcasing the iPhone's new 'Cinematic' mode.

What's perhaps more interesting is the short 'making of' released with it, taking us behind the scenes of the SMUGGLER production.
The additional film takes us through more of the new functions (shift focus from the foreground to the background, 3x optical zoom, advanced low-light performance, macro video, advanced stabilization, shooting in ProRes?!?) and sees Bigelow and Oscar-nominated cinematographer Greig Fraser at work.
