Created by Forsman & Bodenfors and directed by Filip Tellander through B-Reel Films, this touching spot from The Church of Sweden celebrates the power of human connection and the comfort of being heard through life’s highs and lows.
Titled We Listen, the film weaves together beautifully shot, slice-of-life vignettes in which people unleash a spectrum of screams, from happiness and excitement to frustration, anger and sadness.
Each scream flows seamlessly into the next, culminating with a young woman letting out a cry in a quiet church. As the camera pulls back, a member of the church is revealed sitting beside her, ready to listen and offer support.
