Ride-hailing brand Uber is tapping into Brazil’s obsession with winning a sixth World Cup title in this playful initiative created by Wieden + Kennedy.
The initiative involved the brand rolling out an unprecedented temporary 6-star rating, available only to riders and driver-partners in Brazil, inspired by the five stars on the Brazilian National Team’s jersey.
Cleverly leaning into football rivalry and national pride, the initiative is the latest chapter of Chega Junto (Come Together)– a campaign created to celebrate the brand’s sponsorship of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
