“This honestly feels so natural to us. We’ve collaborated with PUSH many times over the years because they’re like-minded, good humans who share our obsession with shaping culture through craft. We’ve always been geographically agnostic when it comes to finding the best talent and creative opportunities, and this partnership feels like the logical next step. We believe in this team. They understand and value the exceptional talent and clients we’re fortunate to work with, and they’re committed to achieving the best creative results.” said Dom Thomas, Founder, Object & Animal (UK)
Emi Stewart, Partner, Object & Animal (US) adds: “On a personal level, this partnership feels especially meaningful. My Japanese heritage, alongside Dom’s Sri Lankan roots, gives us a genuine connection to the region, culture, and communities we’re hoping to engage with. This feels like more than a business expansion, it feels like a natural, personal and authentic next chapter for Object & Animal.”
For PUSH, the partnership marks an exciting next step in a relationship that has developed over many years.
The Tokyo office, led by Mike Sunda and Aime Okamoto, will open up fresh opportunities for O&A’s international talent to connect with Asia’s growing, vibrant creative community.
“Both companies are culture and craft driven, and committed to working with good people on meaningful projects. Most importantly, PUSH understands and genuinely cares about the Object & Animal roster - this is a group of directors, photographers and creative talent that make thoughtful, nuanced work, which transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries.” adds Mike Sunda, Co-Founder, PUSH (Tokyo).
